Zimbabwe–Ghana: 12 agreements to boost trade at 378,000 dollars
Zimbabwe and Ghana strengthen ties with 12 new agreements in Accra, aiming to drive industrialization and sustainable growth despite modest trade flows.

During the state visit of Emmerson Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe and Ghana signed 12 agreements on March 27, 2026 in Accra, covering diplomacy, health, energy, tourism and trade. Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the deals aim to drive industrialization and sustainable growth. Data from the Observatory of Economic Complexity show limited trade flows in 2024, with Ghana exporting 378,000 dollars to Zimbabwe and imports totaling 8,960 dollars.
