Uganda’s coffee exports increased by 22% in May compared to the previous year, thanks to a bountiful harvest in the Masaka region, according to the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA). The country shipped 553,529 60-kg bags in May. Coffee revenues exceeded one billion dollars over 12 months, compared to 839 million the previous year.
