The U.S. Embassy in Tunis, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), announces a grant of 76.5 million Tunisian dinars ($24.85 million) to support date production in Tunisia. This funding is part of the Food for Progress (FFPr) program and aims to enhance agricultural systems in the oases. The project, implemented in partnership with Partners of the Americas and the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture, will focus on water management, irrigation practices, and export opportunities.
