The Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) is set to provide Tunisia with a $1.2 billion loan to support its debt-laden state-owned enterprises. The agreement was signed in Riyadh between Tunisian Minister of Economy Feryel Ouerghi and ITFC CEO Hani Salem Sonbol. This aid comes at a time when Tunisia is grappling with a profound economic and financial crisis.
