Patrick Pouyanné, CEO of TotalEnergies, announced after his meeting with President Denis Sassou Nguesso on May 19, 2024, that the company will invest more than 375 billion FCFA ($625 million) in Congo in 2024.
TotalEnergies has been a key player in Congo’s oil sector for several decades, holding more than 50% of the country’s national production.
