Togo: Pan-African forum in Lomé to advance financial inclusion above 80 percent

The BankAssur Forum in Lomé will unite leaders and investors to advance financial inclusion, address SME financing gaps, and scale fintech innovation in Togo.

Scheduled for October 26–27 in Lomé, the first BankAssur Forum & Awards will gather policymakers and investors to boost financial inclusion. Led by the Forum des marchés financiers en Afrique, the event will focus on bank-insurance convergence and fintech innovation. According to the World Bank, Togo’s financial inclusion rate exceeds 80 percent, driven by mobile money adoption. Discussions will address SME financing gaps and regulatory challenges to scale innovation.
