The general manager of HeidelbergCement companies in Togo, Eric Goulignac, announced Wednesday January 8 in Lomé, an investment of 30 million USD from the German group for the extension of a factory of its subsidiary CimTogo in Lomé, according to information relayed by Financial Afrik. « This investment will increase the grinding capacity of the cement manufacturer by more than one million tonnes per year. The company thus claims the promotion of a Togolese industry for processing its mineral resources in the production of clinker and cement 100% made in Togo, « said a press release.
