Zambia has been ranked among the top 10 African countries expected to experience the highest economic growth in 2025, according to the latest International Monetary Fund (IMF) report. Zambia’s GDP is projected to grow by 6.6%, making it the sixth fastest-growing economy on the continent. The growth forecast is attributed to improved weather conditions and the resolution of supply chain issues. Experts from the Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) highlight the importance of ongoing reforms, mining sector expansion, and favorable agricultural conditions for sustained growth.
