Togo 7 candidates selected for the presidential election of February 22
The Constitutional Court of Togo made public Friday seven candidates selected from the ten files submitted to it for the presidential election of February 22, including that of outgoing president Faure Gnassingbé. The other six candidates are all from the opposition. They are Agbeyomé Kodjo from the Patriotic Movement for Democracy and Development (MPDD), Jean-Pierre Fabre from the National Alliance for Change (ANC), Aimé Tchabouré Gogué from the Alliance of Democrats for Integral Development (ADDI), Mouhamed Tchassona Traoré of the Citizen Movement for Democracy and Development (MCD), Komi Wolou of the Socialist Party for Renewal (PSR) and Georges William Assiongbon Kuessan of the People’s Health Party.
