South Africa : Eutelsat Group and Paratus South Africa have formed a partnership to expand connectivity services.

Eutelsat Group (ETL) and Paratus South Africa have entered into a partnership to extend connectivity services in South Africa. Paratus will broaden its satellite offering to remote regions with a joint GEO/LEO solution. Eutelsat OneWeb’s LEO services will be integrated into Paratus’ fiber network, covering over 20,000 km in sub-Saharan Africa. This partnership aims to provide high-performance connectivity solutions for various sectors. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for telecommunications in South Africa, offering innovative prospects. Eutelsat OneWeb is deploying its satellite platform in South Africa and Mauritius, strengthening its capacity in the region.
