Nigeria: President Buhari Builds Infrastructure for Elections
In view of the February 16th elections in Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari decided to accelerate the construction of strategic infrastructure, in particular to allow the development of the transport sector. It has signed a decree in Abuja to invest in the development and renovation of road infrastructure. A measure that should also accelerate pilot projects involving 19 strategic roads in 11 states of the country. “This is another opportunity to demonstrate the commitment of this administration to design, develop and implement public-private partnerships with notable investors to fill the gap in road infrastructure in the transport sector,” said the head of state to the national agency, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)
