Nigeria will launch a diaspora bond in the third quarter. The bond will be issued locally but denominated in US dollars, said the country’s finance minister, Olawale Edun, in an interview, without detailing the amount the government hoped to raise.
« We believe Nigerians worldwide hold enough dollars and will participate in Nigeria’s economic recovery and support it, » he said.
