Morocco : World Bank preparing $250M to boost national digital transformation

The World Bank is preparing $250 million in financing to support Digital Morocco 2030, aimed at upgrading public digital services and strengthening a digital sector that currently represents only 4.5% of GDP. The programme focuses on enhancing e-government, supporting startups, expanding cloud capacity and narrowing the digital divide, particularly between urban and rural areas.
