According to the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, Morocco welcomed 1.3 million arrivals at border posts in April 2024, a 17% increase compared to the previous year. This positive trend includes foreign tourists (+15%) and Moroccans residing abroad (+20%). In total, the country recorded 4.6 million arrivals in the first four months of 2024, marking a 14% growth compared to the same period in 2023. Foreign tourists accounted for 56% of total arrivals, approximately 340,000 additional visitors.
