Morocco : 12.2 million passengers on rail lines in the second quarter of 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, Moroccan rail transport attracted nearly 12.2 million passengers. This represents a 17.4% increase in traffic, compared to the 2nd quarter of 2022, for a turnover of 653 million dirhams, or approximately 64.2 million USD. Overall revenue for the first half amounted to 2.19 billion dirhams, up 5% year-on-year.
