Key rates : the Bceao explains the increase

The BCEAO raised its key rates by 25 points, from 3.00 to 3.25%. A decision which is explained according to its governor, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou by the risk factors which are emerging. In addition, he indicates that even if inflation fell from 5.8% in the first quarter to 4% in the second quarter of the year 2023, the objective is not 1 to 3% is not yet reached.
