ICC : an Africa-Europe forum for the valorization of heritage in Abidjan

Abidjan hosted the 5th regional Africa-Europe forum of the French Institute, « Our Future, » from April 20 to 22. This event aimed to highlight the challenges of valuing heritage and memories through the prism of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI). Among the solutions discussed: the digitization of threatened architectural heritage, illustrated by initiatives such as Iconem, which uses photogrammetry, and innovative projects like that of Nicolas-Etienne Sohou N’gani, who proposes itinerant virtual exhibitions to make heritage accessible to all.
