Ghana: Slight increase in cocoa purchase price for the 2024/2025 season

For the 2024/2025 cocoa season, President Nana Akufo-Addo announced a modest increase in the price of cocoa, with the price of a 64 kg sack rising from GH₵3,000 to GH₵3,100, reflecting a 0.03% increase. This adjustment, which sets the price at GH₵49,600 per ton, aims to stabilize the income of Ghanaian cocoa producers in response to the economic challenges they face.
