Funding : Islamic Development Bank approves $605 million for 8 African countries
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has approved the granting of loans totaling approximately $605 million to eight of its African member countries to finance projects aimed at improving the living conditions of populations and promoting achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ivory Coast and Senegal will receive respectively $195.2 million and $42.8 million, Guinea 40 million and $51.4 million to finance two projects in the water & sanitation sectors and health. 49.9 million dollars for Mauritania and 19.8 million for Mozambique and $66.9 million in Nigeria.
