Ethiopia : USD 274 million generated from gold exports in the Last 9 months

The Ministry of Mines announced that gold exports over the past nine months yielded USD 274 million, marking an 83% increase compared to the previous year. This growth is attributed to higher gold production by commercial mining companies and traditional miners. The Ethiopian government has also disclosed the discovery of gold deposits exceeding 517 tons across multiple regions, with plans for constructing processing plants in various locations.
