On April 18, 2025, Egypt inaugurated in Cairo the African Space Agency headquarters, a landmark $50 million project to foster African scientific cooperation. Egypt’s Foreign Minister hailed it as “the vision of the Africa we want,” aligned with the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
