Egyptian airports experienced an increase in traffic of almost 28% in 2023. This represents 47 million travelers, according to statistics revealed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. This traffic was generated by a flow of 365,000 flights, which represents an increase of 23% compared to 2022.
Cairo International Airport remains the busiest airport hub in Egypt, handling more than 26 million passengers via 198,000 flights.
