In the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rawbank and the African Guarantee Fund (AGF) have, on the sidelines of the « AFAWA Finance Series » initiative, the second edition of which is taking place in Kinshasa from 27 to 29 September 2022, concluded two guarantee agreements for a total amount of 50 million dollars. This support from AGF aims at increasing Rawbank’s intervention capacities in favor of SMEs and microfinance institutions. These agreements are supported by AFAWA (Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa), an AfDB initiative to promote women’s access to finance in Africa.
