Benin The start of work on the social housing construction program planned for January
The program to build 20,000 social housing units in 14 cities across the country is soon entering its active phase. As a prelude to the start of work planned for January 2019, the Minister of the living environment and sustainable development and the managers of the company in charge of the project held today a meeting to harmonize the project schedule. Under the terms of the exchanges, it is selected at the beginning of January 2020 for the effective start of works for an execution period of 18 months. The program provides for the construction of 20,000 homes in 14 cities in Benin: Abomey-Calavi, Porto-novo, Semè-Kpodji, Parakou, Abomey, Bohicon, Natitingou, Djougou, Kandi, Mallanville, Dassa-Zoumè, Lokossa, Aplahoué-Azove , Pobè, Ouidah and Pahou.
