Angola : inauguration of the China-financed Integrated Technological Training Center (CINFOTEC)
On January 12, Angolan President João Lourenço inaugurated the Integrated Technological Training Center (CINFOTEC) in Huambo. Financed by China, the 20,000-square-meter center offers technical and professional training, catering to 2,400 students annually. With 30 laboratories, including those dedicated to robotics, it enhances the technological skills of the Angolan population. Geraldo Pambasange, the director, expressed gratitude to China for its support. As a key partner in the technological revolution in Africa, China has also collaborated with other nations. CINFOTEC Huambo marks the third center of its kind in Angola.
