Agriculture : Ghana launches more than $69 million program to improve access to finance

A new program entitled “Affordable Agricultural Financing for Resilient Rural Development” (AAFORD) aimed at improving access to agricultural financing has just been launched by Ghana. With a total cost of $69.7 million, it is financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for a period of 6 years. It targets more than 540,000 small farmers.
