AfricaTech Awards : Viva Technology and IFC announce second edition
Startups offering innovative solutions in climate, finance and health in Africa now have until March 12, 2023 to submit their applications.

Viva Technology and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), on February 27, 2023, announced the launch of the second edition of the AfricaTech Awards (ATA). The winners of this competition will be awarded during VivaTech, which will take place in the French capital from June 14 to 17, 2023.
Applications in the ClimateTech, Fintech and HealthTech categories are expected from February 27 to March 12, 2023. Deloitte, the event’s knowledge partner, will first compile a shortlist of 15 startups per category. A second review by the Awards jury will identify the top three in each category. These will be invited to VivaTech to showcase their innovations to investors and tech leaders.

More than 300 startups had applied in 2022. ZEEE Centre, Chefaa and Click2Sure won in the Climate Tech, Health Tech and FinTech categories, respectively.
