African wealth growth : expected 65% increase
According to Henley and Partners’ annual report, major African fortunes are projected to grow by 65%. The Big Five – South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, and Morocco – represent 56% of millionaires and 90% of billionaires on the continent. However, out of the 54 billionaires born in Africa, only 21 still reside there, often seeking a better quality of life abroad. Sectors like mining resources and eco-tourism attract investments, while countries like Mauritius and Namibia offer favorable tax benefits and attractive investment opportunities.
