Ghana : Strengthening trade ties with Vietnam

On September 25, the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) co-hosted a seminar to promote trade exchanges between Vietnam and Ghana. Dao Minh Chanh, Deputy Director of the ITPC, highlighted that Ghana is Vietnam’s leading trade partner in West Africa, with trade reaching $733 million in 2023. The city exported $35.2 million worth of goods to Ghana in the first half of the year, a 22% increase compared to the previous year. The two countries are seeking to deepen their cooperation in high-tech agriculture and energy, with a focus on investment.
