As the head of the Advisory Department at the Uganda Development Bank, she works to support local businesses, especially those owned by youth and women, to create a positive impact on society and the economy.

With over 15 years of experience managing various projects, including youth and women empowerment initiatives, she holds a Master’s in Business Administration in International Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA, as well as a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems from Elmhurst University.
She has held various leadership positions within large multinational brands in the United States and Uganda. Before joining the Uganda Development Bank (UDB), the country’s only government-owned development financial institution.
Empower women to find their voices and young people to find their place
As the head of the Advisory Department at UDB, Kasekende oversees the implementation of technical services aimed at guiding clients and prospects in areas such as best management practices, governance, record keeping, financial management, among others. As a businesswoman and senior executive, she has made it her mission to « empower women to find their voices and young people to find their place. »
