Tech : Botswana Orange opens tier 3 data centre

Orange Botswana, a mobile network operator, has opened a $5.2 million tier 3 data centre in the Botswana Digital Innovation Hub Science and Technology Park.

According to Brelotte Ba, deputy CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa, the initiative would promote technological advancement and drive digital inclusion.

« This data centre will act as a catalyst for economic growth, providing the technological foundation required for businesses to thrive in the digital age ».

He stated that Orange Group is committed to ensuring that Botswana may continue to benefit from the digital revolution.
