RwandAir passengers will be able to fly directly to Paris from 27 June 2023. The information was revealed on 17 April 2023 by a press release from the Rwandan airline. It indicates that « flights will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Kigali International Airport ».
This new direct route is part of RwandAir’s policy to implement its expansion programme. For Yvonne Makolo, CEO of RwandAir, « the launch of our first ever flights to Paris is an exciting development in our ongoing expansion. It is a testament to the importance of Franco-Rwandan relations.
To materialize this new option, the Rwandan company acquired in March 2023 an Airbus 330-200 in order to serve London, Brussels, Dubai among others.
