Morocco: Attijariwafa bank, 1st support for small businesses

Against Covid-19, Morocco has taken steps to strengthen the resilience of the economy and help businesses weather the challenges. The Attijariwafa bank group claims to be the first contributor to this dynamic, with in particular 46% of the « Intelaka » financing granted by the banking sector, i.e. an envelope of 1.25 billion dirhams to 6,500 project leaders, more than 18,500 “Oxygène” credits granted to businesses (especially traders / artisans and micro-enterprises), for 5.7 billion dirhams and 37% in this type of credit by the sector, and 10.7 billion dirhams granted under “Relance” credits more than 12,300 operators, or 34% of the funding for this program.
