Orange launches virtual Mastercard linked to mobile money to expand access to global digital payments
Orange has launched the “Orange Money Mastercard” virtual card in Sierra Leone in partnership with Zenith Bank Sierra Leone and Mastercard. The solution enables mobile money users to make online and international payments without a traditional bank account. Backed by the Bank of Sierra Leone and the National Communications Authority, the initiative aims to boost financial inclusion and support SMEs’ access to digital services. No investment amount has been disclosed.
