Mali net job creation growth in 2025 driven by public sector
Mali recorded 65,503 net job creations in 2025, derived from 69,298 gross jobs and 3,795 losses, according to official figures presented on March 27, 2026 by Minister Oumou Sall Seck. This exceeds the 60,692 jobs created in 2024 and marks the strongest performance in five years. The public sector accounted for 40,566 jobs (59%), while the private sector contributed 28,732, showing a decline. No total financial amount was disclosed.
