On 13 February 2026, Morocco and Safran Group unveiled a €280 million investment to build one of the world’s largest landing gear factories in Nouaceur, bolstering the kingdom’s aerospace base. The 26,000 m² facility will create 500 skilled jobs in precision machining, high‑tech assembly, testing and certification, notably supporting Airbus A320 production.
