Senegal, in partnership with the World Bank Group, launched the AgriConnect Pact to modernise its food systems. Focused on cereals, horticulture, and livestock, it aims for 90% food security, 800,000 formal jobs, and cereal coverage rising to 78% by 2029, through structured investments, policy reforms, and private-sector mobilisation.
