In the latest Corruption Perceptions Index by Transparency International, Seychelles ranks Africa’s least corrupt nation with a score of 68, placing 24th globally. Cabo Verde (62, 35th) and Botswana (58, 41st) follow, tied with Rwanda (58). Mauritius (48), Namibia (46), Senegal (46), Benin (45), as well as Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana (43) also feature in the continental top 10, reflecting governance progress despite persistent institutional and economic challenges.
