Equatorial Guinea : unitization deal for Yoyo-Yolanda gas project

On February 3, 2026, Malabo and Yaoundé signed a unitization agreement for the Yoyo-Yolanda gas project, enabling coordinated exploitation of a shared reservoir estimated at 2,500 billion cubic feet of gas (84% Equatorial Guinea, 16% Cameroon). Three wells and a processing platform are planned to support LNG exports, enhance energy security, and boost regional economic growth.
