Namibia : international reserves rise to 3.3 months of imports

As of 31 December 2025, Namibia’s international reserves reached N$51.6 billion (~$3.0 billion), up 4.9% month-on-month, supported by net South African rand inflows and revaluation gains, covering 3.3 months of imports. Credit growth remains mixed: weak for businesses and mortgage lending, but strong for installment sales and lease financing.
