Algeria has successfully launched its sixth satellite, ALSAT-3A, into orbit from the Jiuquan space center in China. Developed with Chinese partners and the Algerian Space Agency, the Earth observation satellite will support land-use planning, resource management, and disaster risk reduction. The mission reflects the growing Algeria-China strategic partnership and a key step in strengthening Algeria’s national space capabilities.
