Zimbabwe is developing ZIMSAT-3, its third Earth observation satellite, to enhance its space capabilities. According to ZINGSA Director General Painos Gweme, multiple satellites are currently in production. The Mazowe Ground Station has been upgraded to optimize data transmission, essential for environmental and agricultural monitoring.
