Zimbabwe : Lumwana copper mine has brought in more than $2.3 billion since 2019 

Since 2019, the Lumwana copper mine has brought over $2.3 billion to the Zambian economy in the form of taxes, royalties, salaries and purchases from local suppliers. According to official figures, the company spent $432 million, or 83% of its total purchases from « Zambian suppliers and contractors ».
