Zimbabwe : Econet launches a 100 MW solar-powered industrial park in Harare

In early January 2026, Econet InfraCo announced the development of a 300-hectare industrial park near Robert Mugabe International Airport in Harare. The site will be powered by a 100 MW solar plant and will include digital and logistics infrastructure. Backed by Zimbabwean entrepreneur Strive Masiyiwa, the project aims to attract manufacturing and export-focused businesses and support the country’s industrial growth.
