West Africa : EBID approves US$308.6M for energy and industry

The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) approved US$308.631 million in Lomé to boost clean energy, industry, and sustainable growth. The package includes a US$40M credit line to Vista Bank Guinea and three projects in Nigeria: a 98.18M solar plant, a 79.219M rice-processing complex with 10,000 ha irrigation, and a 91.232M industrial park. EBID President George Agyekum Donkor stressed the support to regional integration and the SDGs.
