In 2024, the BIDC allocated $365 million to finance sustainable development projects in West Africa, focusing on essential sectors like industry, education, health, and services. Although this funding is lower than in previous years, it aligns with the Strategic Plan 2021-2025, which has met its $2.57 billion five-year goal. Despite the reduction, the BIDC recorded solid financial growth, reaching a total balance of $1.97 billion.
