West Africa : African Development Fund allocates $99 million to boost rice production 

The African Development Fund (ADF) has approved $99 million in funding to strengthen rice value chains in West Africa. The project aims to increase production, support farmers—particularly women and youth—and enhance resilience to climate change. The Gambia and Guinea-Bissau are among the first beneficiaries.
