Visa invests in four African startups through its fintech accelerator program

Visa has announced a strategic investment in four African startups – Oze (Ghana), Orda (Nigeria), WorkPay, and OkHi (Kenya) – as part of its Africa Fintech Accelerator program. Launched in 2023, the program supports innovative fintech companies and aligns with Visa’s commitment to invest $1 billion in financial inclusion across Africa by 2027. To date, it has supported 45 startups and facilitated 15 active partnerships, strengthening the continent’s fintech ecosystem.
