At the 38th African Union Summit on February 12, 2025, the call for visa-free movement across the continent took center stage. The AU and the African Development Bank (AfDB) urged governments to fast-track the removal of visa restrictions hindering regional integration and economic growth. The launch of the « Visa-Free Roadshow 2025 » aims to engage policymakers, businesses, and civil society to remove travel barriers and promote Africa’s progress.
