Urban Mobility : Enakl raises $1.4 million to expand Iis services in Africa

Moroccan-French mobility startup Enakl raised $1.4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Catalyst Fund, with participation from Renew Capital, Digital Africa, Station F, and angel investors.

Founded in 2023, Enakl offers scheduled minibus shuttle services on fixed routes, addressing urban challenges such as overcrowded buses and inconsistent schedules.

Primarily operating in Casablanca, the startup manages over 15,000 bookings per month, with a 20% monthly growth. The funds will support the expansion of its tech-based bus-sharing services in Morocco and other African cities.
